GO CAPITAL sells its stake in Nextflow Software

Equipe Nextflow

4 June 2021 – GO CAPITAL has announced the sale of its entire stake in Nextflow Software. Following this transaction, the SIEMENS group has become the majority shareholder of the Nantes-based deep tech company.

A deep tech player specialising in fluid mechanics simulation

Nantes-based software publisher and leader in innovative computational fluid dynamics (CFD) methods, Nextflow Software develops and markets computer-aided engineering (CAE) software for hydrodynamics applications.

Nextflow Software’s customers are engineering companies and industrial firms that develop and manufacture products/systems involving complex fluid flows in the automotive, aeronautics, energy, environment, processes and maritime sectors, etc. Thanks to its team of around twenty engineers and PhDs and an academic partnership of more than 10 years with the laboratories of the École Centrale de Nantes (ECN), Nextflow Software has developed groundbreaking software that offers new perspectives for the simulation of complex fluid dynamics.

The exit comes after helping the company attain international positioning

GO CAPITAL invested in Nextflow Software in October 2020, via the Ouest Ventures 3 fund. This investment was supplemented by Litto Invest (venture capital company under delegation of management by GO CAPITAL).

“The excellence of Nextflow Software’s technology and its people convinced us to invest. The startup works with major French customers and looks set for a bright future through its integration within the SIEMENS group. We were proud to support the company and its managers in attaining international positioning,” said Jérôme Guéret, Director of Investment and Chief Executive Officer of GO CAPITAL.
